No Caption New Tower 9 Has Arrived in Quarters

CVFC, May 05

The New CVFC Tower 9 is now home and getting fitted out with her equipment. Training will commence in the coming days and the rig should be in service soon. This is a 2022 Pierce Ascendant which features a 100' tower ladder, 2000 GPM pump with 300 gallons of water with a full compliment of ground ladders and all associated equipment a ladder truck carries.... Chester Fire assists Atlantic Ambulance with Landing Zone

On March 7th the Chester Vol Fire Company responded to assist Atlantic Ambulance for a medical call involving a fall victim. Members set up a landing zone for a medical helicopter at the baseball field on Main Street in the Borough due to the injuries the patient suffered.... (Full Story & Photos)

The Chester Volunteer Fire Company went all in on Sunday 2/13- Literally! Members that have been specially trained in ice rescue donned the gear and ran through some scenarios on a local pond. This type of technical rescue is not needed often but when it is time is of the essence and the crews need to act very quickly.
