CVFC VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

        Your Chester Volunteer Fire Company has been providing fire protection to the Chester community for over 100 years and it is 100% volunteer.

        When you join the ranks of a volunteer fire company you instantly become a member of one of the largest brother/sisterhoods on earth- Fire Fighters!!

Join a group of men and women that will drop whatever they are doing day or night to respond to the call for help of their fellow citizens. Challenge yourself to be the best you can be while serving and protecting your neighbors. Are you up to the challange? Can you be one of the people who make a difference in Chester ? The answer is YES !!!!

Things you might say or question and what we will tell you:

You: “Oh I don’t have time”

Us: “Sure you do, we all work and have families, and it can be done”

You: “I am afraid of fire”

Us: “Good you should be, but the training you will receive will change all of that"

You: “I can’t drive a big truck”

Us: “You can learn and we will teach you and by the way it’s not mandatory”

Bottom line is come down and speak with us and see what we do and what our capabilities are, they are massive and you can be a part of it!! There is a job and role for everyone!!

•    No experience necessary
•    Must be a Chester resident or live in a neighboring community
•    Must be at least 16 years old or older to join
•    All training and equipment are provided at no cost to you
