CELEBRATING 105 YEARS OF SERVICE TO CHESTER!

In 2026, the Chester Volunteer Fire Company (CVFC) proudly celebrates 105 years of serving and protecting our community!

In 2021, we marked our 100th anniversary with a spectacular fireworks display at Chubb Park. Since our founding in 1921, the CVFC has remained a 100% volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping Chester safe.

Today, more than 50 active members generously contribute over 6,700 volunteer hours each year! These hours go far beyond emergency responses. Our members participate in ongoing state-required training, conduct fire prevention programs at local schools, and organize community traditions such as the Chester Firemen’s Carnival.

We’re also proud to support local events, including Oktoberfest, Chester Day, and sporting tournaments—always ready to lend a helping hand or provide standby emergency coverage when needed.

For 105 years, our members have answered the call, supported our neighbors, and helped make Chester a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

Thank you to our members, families, and community for being part of our history. Here’s to continuing our tradition of service for generations to come!
